The Next-Gen of Mentoring: Injecting Innovation DNA into the leaders of tomorrow
Innovation has been identified as one of the critical competencies for the 21st Century Professional.
Leaders of tomorrow are required to be creative, curious, imaginative and innovative while applying themselves at the workplace. Whilst we are fully aware of the urgent need to impart such skill, the question of how can they learn innovation today, remains elusive.
Mentoring may prove to be an effective method, whereby experienced mentors are able to share marketplace reality and also give “big-picture” advice.
Tapping into his experience as an organizational psychologist, angel investor and mentor to startups, Ivan launched a Solidarity mentoring project with a lower secondary school in Hong Kong with the aim of imparting mentoring and innovation skills via a Design Thinking Workshop.
In this webinar, Ivan will share his insights on “Innovation Mentoring” and learning points from the project in Hong Kong.
Ivan originally studied and trained as an engineer.
